Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end development of scalable, high-performance web applications using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, Next.js).
- Architect and optimize backend systems (APIs, databases, microservices) for reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate user needs into technical specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of code quality, best practices, and innovation.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline deployments.
- Monitor and improve application performance, security, and user experience.
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay ahead of industry trends in full-stack development.
- Work asynchronously in a remote-first environment with a focus on Bali’s time zone.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Go).
- Expertise in frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) and backend technologies (Node.js, Django, or similar).
- Proven track record of building and scaling production-grade applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong understanding of database design (SQL/NoSQL) and system architecture.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative tools (Git, Jira, Slack).
- Bonus: Contributions to open-source projects or prior work in developer tooling.
