Responsibility
- Design and create custom floral arrangements for weddings, events, and special occasions, ensuring alignment with client themes and preferences.
- Consult with clients to understand their vision, budget, and requirements, providing expert recommendations on floral selections and designs.
- Source and select high-quality flowers, foliage, and decorative elements from local and international suppliers.
- Oversee the setup, installation, and breakdown of floral decorations at event venues, ensuring timely and flawless execution.
- Collaborate with event planners, photographers, and vendors to coordinate seamless floral integration with overall event aesthetics.
- Manage inventory, track expenses, and maintain budgets for floral projects while minimizing waste.
- Train and mentor junior florists or assistants, fostering a creative and efficient team environment.
- Stay updated on floral design trends, seasonal availability, and sustainable practices in the industry.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Florist or Floral Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing wedding and event floral work.
- Proven expertise in hand-tied bouquets, centerpieces, arches, and large-scale installations.
- Excellent knowledge of flower varieties, color theory, and seasonal availability in tropical climates (Bali-specific experience is a plus).
- Strong client-facing and communication skills to interpret and exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail in design and execution.
- Familiarity with floral preservation techniques and post-event care for arrangements.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by event schedules.
