Join our dynamic team in Bali as an Audio Visual Management & Support System Officer and play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations for events, conferences, and venue bookings. This contract-based position offers a competitive monthly retainer fee, with additional engagement on an as-needed basis to manage hall operations, provide expert technical support, and oversee marketing initiatives.

Based in the vibrant regions of Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung, you will be at the heart of Bali’s thriving hospitality and events industry. Your expertise in audio-visual systems, event coordination, and client management will drive the success of our venues, ensuring exceptional experiences for every guest and client.

This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for technology and customer service, looking to contribute to high-impact projects in a flexible, contract-based environment.

Responsibility

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of audio-visual equipment and systems in event halls and venues.
  • Provide on-site technical support for events, including setup, troubleshooting, and operation of AV equipment.
  • Coordinate and confirm bookings, ensuring all client requirements are met and documented.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote venue services and attract new clients.
  • Maintain inventory of AV equipment, including regular inspections, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events and technical setups.
  • Train staff and clients on the proper use of AV systems and equipment.
  • Monitor industry trends and recommend innovations to enhance service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in audio-visual management, event support, or a related technical field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, including sound, lighting, and video equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
  • Experience in venue or event management, with a focus on customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in using AV software and tools (e.g., QLab, ProPresenter, or similar).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles and strategies to promote venue services is a plus.
