Responsibility
- Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of fire protection systems for luxury hotel and resort projects, ensuring compliance with NFPA, BS, and local Indonesian regulations.
- Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire detection, suppression, and alarm systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, and gas-based suppression systems.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of fire safety systems with architectural and MEP designs.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential fire hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for regulatory approvals and client presentations.
- Provide training and guidance to site teams on fire safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fire protection engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Masterâs degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection engineering, with a focus on hospitality or commercial projects.
- Professional certification (e.g., CFPS, PE, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of NFPA, BS, and Indonesian fire safety regulations (e.g., SNI, Permen PU).
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software for fire protection system layouts.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and other Indonesian locations as needed.
