Responsibility
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering designs, specifications, and safety standards.
- Monitor construction progress and report any deviations or issues to project managers and stakeholders.
- Verify the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to industry and company standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and labor teams to resolve technical challenges and maintain project timelines.
- Document inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
- Assist in the review of construction drawings, methodologies, and project plans to identify potential risks or improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to on-site teams to enhance efficiency and problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as an Inspector of Works.
- Minimum of 3β5 years of hands-on experience in site supervision and coordination.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and safety protocols.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using inspection tools, software, and documentation systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
