Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures for electrical systems in data center projects, ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., IEC, ISO, NEC).
- Conduct inspections and tests on Core & Shell Electrical Equipment, MV Gensets, and HVAC systems to verify adherence to technical specifications and safety protocols.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including test reports, inspection logs, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and audit subcontractor workmanship to ensure alignment with project requirements and industry best practices.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for electrical installations in high-availability environments.
- Support commissioning activities, including pre-functional checks (PFC) and start-up testing for electrical systems.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and regulations in data center electrical infrastructure and QA/QC methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CQE, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC for electrical systems, with at least 2 years in data center or mission-critical projects.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NFPA 70, IEC 61439, local regulations).
- Proven experience with MV/LV systems, generators, switchgear, and HVAC electrical integration.
- Strong proficiency in QA/QC tools (e.g., calibration equipment, megohmmeters, thermal imaging cameras).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and travel to project sites as needed.
- Familiarity with BIM, AutoCAD, or ETAP for electrical system modeling is advantageous.
