Responsibility
- Design and develop fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and smoke control systems, in compliance with international and local regulations.
- Conduct fire risk assessments and hazard analyses for new and existing structures to ensure optimal safety measures.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate fire protection solutions into building designs.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for fire protection systems, ensuring clarity and accuracy for stakeholders.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems to verify functionality and compliance.
- Provide expert guidance on fire safety codes, standards, and best practices to project teams and clients.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of fire protection systems to identify potential risks and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in fire protection engineering to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in fire protection design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HydraCAD) and familiarity with relevant codes (NFPA, BS, EN, or local standards).
- Experience working with Japanese multinational companies or in international project environments is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex fire safety challenges.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Japanese or Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Certifications such as CFPS (Certified Fire Protection Specialist) or PE (Professional Engineer) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
