Responsibility
- Design, develop, and review fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, suppression systems, and emergency evacuation plans.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and fire safety audits for commercial, residential, and industrial facilities.
- Ensure compliance with local and international fire safety codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, IBC, and Indonesian SNI).
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate fire protection solutions into building designs.
- Prepare and present technical reports, drawings, and specifications for fire protection systems to clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire safety systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide expert guidance on fire safety best practices and emergency response planning.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff in fire protection engineering principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in fire protection engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Professional certification as a Singapore Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent (e.g., CFPS, NICET).
- Proven track record in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety codes and standards, including NFPA, IBC, and local Indonesian regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and fire modeling software (e.g., FDS, Pathfinder).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
