Responsibility
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and monitoring financial risks (market, credit, liquidity, and operational) across the organization.
- Support the development and implementation of risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of financial data to forecast potential risks and their impact on business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations (e.g., Basel III, IFRS).
- Prepare comprehensive risk reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Participate in stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate the company’s resilience under adverse conditions.
- Assist in the design and optimization of risk mitigation strategies, including hedging and insurance solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices in financial risk management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, CFA, PRM) is a plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in finance, risk analysis, or a related internship/traineeship (fresh graduates with exceptional academic records may be considered).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or risk modeling tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
- Familiarity with financial regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
