Responsibility
- Review, validate, and process invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Resolve complex payment queries and discrepancies in a timely manner, maintaining strong vendor and stakeholder relationships.
- Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or specialist role.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in a multinational company or shared services environment is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.
