Responsibility
- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support business growth and profitability.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend identification, and cost-benefit evaluations to inform strategic decisions.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and treasury functions to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial planning with operational goals and drive performance improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance policies.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions to facilitate audits, financing, and investment activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations and enhance reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) is highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within a corporate or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations, with experience in compliance and audit processes.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a strategic mindset.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
