Responsibility
- Assist in reviewing and processing employee travel and expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and recommend corrective actions for non-compliant submissions.
- Support the implementation of expense management systems and tools, including data entry, validation, and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits of T&E records to detect anomalies, fraud risks, or policy violations, and escalate findings as needed.
- Prepare and distribute compliance reports, dashboards, and metrics to stakeholders on a monthly or ad-hoc basis.
- Assist in training employees on T&E policies, procedures, and best practices to improve awareness and adherence.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows and suggesting efficiencies in expense management.
- Maintain confidential and accurate records of all financial transactions and communications related to T&E compliance.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of financial compliance, auditing, or expense management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Concur) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present findings clearly.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Prior internship or work experience in finance, accounting, or compliance is advantageous but not required.
