Responsibility
- Lead and manage regional financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate consolidation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for Southeast Asia & East Asia.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with regional teams to standardize financial processes, improve data integrity, and streamline reporting across multiple entities.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to senior management to drive cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and intercompany transactions to support liquidity and financial stability.
- Mentor and guide local finance teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or ACCA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or audit, with at least 3 years in a regional or multinational role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance under IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience in Southeast Asia or East Asia markets is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving process improvements.
