Responsibility
- Lead and execute month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to support business decision-making.
- Perform account reconciliations (e.g., balance sheet, intercompany) and resolve discrepancies with minimal supervision.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risks and ensure SOX compliance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Commercial) to provide financial insights and support budgeting/forecasting.
- Drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing automation or best practices.
- Support audits (internal/external) by providing documentation and clarifications as required.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with regional finance teams to align on global standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CFA, or ACCA certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting, preferably in a multinational corporation.
- Proven expertise in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial controls (SOX experience preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to collaborate across teams.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a 1-year contract commitment.
