Responsibility
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indonesian GAAP and IFRS.
- Lead tax planning, compliance, and filing (VAT, corporate income tax, withholding taxes) to minimize liabilities and ensure adherence to local regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze financial data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial forecasts to provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or Brevet A/B) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or tax roles, preferably within the logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (PPN, PPh, etc.) and experience with tax reporting software (e.g., e-SPT, DJP Online).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local accounting software) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; ability to prepare reports and communicate with international partners.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a multinational or fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
