Responsibility

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with Indonesian accounting standards (SAK).
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax, while adhering to local regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate smooth audits and tax assessments.
  • Monitor cash flow, forecast financial trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes to align with company goals.
  • Liaise with management and stakeholders in Mandarin (preferred) to communicate financial performance and tax-related matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and financial regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or tax roles, preferably in manufacturing or chemical industries.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage for coordinating with management.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, accounting principles (SAK), and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Certification in taxation (e.g., Brevet A/B) or accounting (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
