Responsibility
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
- Oversee NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations and reporting for fund portfolios, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform complex reconciliations of general ledger accounts, investments, and cash positions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial reporting processes and implement best practices.
- Support external and internal audits by providing documentation and addressing inquiries.
- Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to mitigate risks and enhance data integrity.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, fund accounting, or audit (public accounting experience preferred).
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting frameworks for investment funds.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, BlackLine) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Experience with NAV calculations, consolidations, and reconciliations in a multi-entity environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote setting.
- Familiarity with financial data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.
