Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Maintain and update general ledger entries, including journal entries and adjustments.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure alignment with budget forecasts.
- Prepare and submit tax-related documents, including VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory filings.
- Monitor cash flow, prepare bank reconciliations, and assist in treasury management.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CAT, ACCA) are a plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role (fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, or local accounting standards (Indonesian tax regulations knowledge is advantageous).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
