Responsibility
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK) and tax regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate income tax (PPh), value-added tax (PPN), and other statutory tax obligations, minimizing risks and optimizing tax efficiency.
- Oversee the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls that enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies during audits, tax assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to align with the companyâs strategic objectives.
- Stay updated on changes in Indonesian tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, ensuring the company remains compliant.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or Brevet A/B) is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or tax compliance, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws (PPh, PPN, PBB) and financial reporting standards (SAK).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Accurate) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, external auditors, and tax authorities.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a bonus.
