Responsibility
- Manage full-set accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with MFRS (Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards) and local tax regulations.
- Prepare and submit accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Oversee payroll processing and statutory deductions (e.g., income tax, social security).
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and inspections.
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) for efficiency.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/MIA certification is a plus).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in full-set accounting, preferably in a multinational or fast-growing company.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, and local tax laws (Indonesian tax regulations are a bonus).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Prior experience in audit support, financial reporting, or team leadership is highly desirable.
