Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Lead tax planning, filings, and audits in collaboration with external advisors and authorities.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial reporting and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and financial risk assessments for the regional office.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to optimize business performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a regional or multinational environment.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and tax regulations in Southeast Asia.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for a regional office.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian financial regulations is highly advantageous.
