String N Swing is seeking a passionate and strategic Senior Fashion Merchandiser to join our dynamic team in Bali. As a key player in our retail and brand development, you will drive the visual and commercial success of our fashion collections, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and market trends.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with design, marketing, and sales teams to curate compelling product assortments, optimize inventory, and enhance the customer experience. Your expertise in fashion merchandising, trend forecasting, and data-driven decision-making will be instrumental in elevating our brand’s presence in the competitive luxury retail space.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute seasonal merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability while aligning with brand aesthetics.
- Collaborate with design and buying teams to curate product assortments that meet customer demand and market trends.
- Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and market insights to optimize stock allocation and minimize overstock/understock situations.
- Lead visual merchandising initiatives, including store layouts, window displays, and digital presentations to enhance brand appeal.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing and e-commerce teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Train and mentor junior merchandising staff to foster a high-performing, creative team.
- Present merchandising plans and performance reports to senior leadership with actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in fashion merchandising, preferably in luxury or contemporary retail.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth through strategic merchandising and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and retail analytics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in merchandising software, Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual presentation and brand storytelling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
