Responsibility
- Lead the design, maintenance, and improvement of facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety) to ensure compliance with medical industry regulations (ISO 13485, GMP, FDA).
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Oversee facility projects, including expansions, renovations, and equipment installations, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) teams to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
- Optimize energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Manage vendor contracts and service agreements for facility-related services.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and maintenance staff on best practices and new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility engineering, preferably in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 13485, GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Proven track record in managing facility projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical systems, cleanroom environments, and building automation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and MS Project.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are advantageous.
