Responsibility
- Develop and implement tire management strategies to optimize performance, safety, and cost-efficiency for fleet vehicles.
- Conduct regular inspections, rotations, and maintenance of tires to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Monitor tire wear patterns and recommend corrective actions (e.g., alignment, balancing, or replacements) to extend tire lifespan.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality tires and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of tire inventory, usage, and performance metrics using digital tracking systems.
- Train and supervise staff on proper tire handling, installation, and safety protocols.
- Analyze fuel efficiency and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement through tire optimization.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to tire safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tire management, fleet maintenance, or automotive engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of tire specifications, load ratings, and tread patterns for commercial vehicles.
- Proficiency in using tire management software and diagnostic tools (e.g., TPMS, tread depth gauges).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose tire-related issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, or other safety standards in automotive maintenance.
- Willingness to work in a 10:2 roster system and travel to operational sites in Bali as needed.
