As the Project In Charge, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budgetary constraints, and timelines. Responsibility
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to technical standards, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and review project plans, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare and present project reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management and clients.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency in project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 2 years in a project management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering electrical engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards, as well as project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or electrical engineering is highly desirable.
