Responsibility
- Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of facade systems and structural components for commercial, residential, and hospitality projects.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure feasibility, cost-efficiency, and compliance with local and international building codes.
- Perform structural calculations and simulations using industry-standard software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Revit).
- Oversee construction administration, including site inspections, material testing, and quality control for facade installations.
- Develop technical drawings, specifications, and reports for tender and construction phases.
- Coordinate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders (clients, suppliers, or partners) to align project requirements and resolve technical challenges.
- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for structural and facade-related issues.
- Stay updated on emerging materials, technologies, and sustainability practices in facade engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field; PE/Chartered Engineer certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on facade design and high-rise buildings.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM tools.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal) is mandatory for client and team communication.
- Strong knowledge of international standards (e.g., Eurocodes, AISC, ASTM) and local Indonesian regulations.
- Proven track record in project management, from conceptual design to construction supervision.
- Experience with glass, aluminum, steel, and composite facade systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills to work in multicultural teams.
