Responsibility
- Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to optimize logistics workflows.
- Maintain compliance with local and international shipping regulations, including FIZ (Free Industrial Zone) requirements.
- Manage inventory control systems, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Lead a team of logistics personnel, providing training, performance evaluations, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align shipping schedules with manufacturing demands.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives by negotiating rates with carriers and optimizing route planning.
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency gains.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics operations, preferably in a manufacturing or FIZ environment.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs clearance, and incoterms.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and warehouse management software.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of process optimization.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Certification in logistics (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is highly desirable.
