Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end faculty HR operations, including new appointments, contract renewals, and promotion/tenure processing.
- Ensure compliance with internal university policies, local employment laws, and international academic standards.
- Coordinate with various academic departments to facilitate seamless faculty onboarding and offboarding experiences.
- Maintain high-accuracy records in HR Information Systems (HRIS), ensuring all faculty files and tenure data are up-to-date.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty members regarding HR-related inquiries, providing prompt and professional guidance.
- Assist in the generation of detailed HR analytics and reports to support leadership decision-making regarding faculty resource management.
- Identify process bottlenecks and contribute to the continuous improvement of shared services workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, preferably within higher education or a complex shared services environment.
- Strong proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office suite, particularly advanced Excel for data reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with academic staff.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Singapore labor regulations (Employment Act) is essential.
