Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and control policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA/QC professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, preparing reports for senior management.
- Ensure all products meet specified quality standards before release to the market.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance reports, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and control, preferably in the flavours and fragrances or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO, HACCP, GMP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
- Certification in quality assurance (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is a plus.
