We are looking for an individual who can seamlessly manage diverse administrative tasks, coordinate complex projects, and act as a reliable point of contact for various stakeholders. Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Head of Department, faculty members, and students within the Department of Social Work.
- Coordinate and manage departmental events, seminars, workshops, and meetings, including logistics, publicity, vendor management, and post-event reporting.
- Maintain and update departmental records, databases, and administrative systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with university policies.
- Assist in financial administration, including processing claims, managing procurement requests, and tracking departmental budgets.
- Serve as a primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including students, faculty, other university departments, and external partners and agencies.
- Support student-related administration, encompassing admissions processes, course registration, internship placements, and student welfare initiatives.
- Prepare and collate reports, presentations, and other essential communication materials for departmental reviews and university-wide initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental processes and initiatives, identifying and implementing efficient administrative solutions.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- For Senior Executive: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably within a higher education institution or a social service-related organization. For Executive: Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant administrative experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or other administrative software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively under pressure.
- Proactive, resourceful, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Familiarity with university administrative policies and procedures will be a distinct advantage.
