Responsibility
- Lead the planning and design of civil and structural components for industrial parks, commercial buildings, and infrastructure projects in Bali.
- Oversee tendering processes, including preparation of technical specifications, evaluation of bids, and contractor selection.
- Ensure compliance with local and international building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and contractors to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs.
- Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to assess ground conditions, material suitability, and construction viability.
- Develop and review engineering drawings, calculations, and reports using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS).
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university. Professional certification (e.g., P.E., C.Eng) is a plus.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on development management, industrial parks, or large-scale building projects.
- Proven track record in project planning, design, and execution, including tendering and contractor management.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, or ETABS.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes, seismic design standards, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with government agencies, clients, and teams.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or tropical climates is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
