Responsibility
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and verify measurements.
- Review and analyze contractual agreements to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Track project expenditures and compare against budgets, reporting discrepancies.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to negotiate prices and resolve disputes.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and cost forecasts for management review.
- Support risk assessment and value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and equipment usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or construction (internships count!).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and cost-estimating software (e.g., WinQS, Candy).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and local regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali as needed.
