Responsibility
- Design and analyze civil and structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software.
- Conduct site investigations and assessments to evaluate the feasibility of projects and identify potential challenges.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Perform structural calculations and simulations to assess the integrity and performance of buildings and infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and draftsmen.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in civil and structural engineering to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, and SAP2000.
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Professional certification or membership in relevant engineering associations is a plus.
