Responsibility
- Plan, coordinate, and execute high-level government events, conferences, and official ceremonies in compliance with protocol standards.
- Liaise with domestic and international stakeholders, including diplomats, government officials, and VIP guests, to ensure smooth event operations.
- Develop and implement event budgets, timelines, and risk management strategies to optimize resources and mitigate potential issues.
- Oversee venue selection, vendor negotiations, and logistical arrangements, including transportation, accommodation, and security.
- Draft and review official correspondence, invitations, and event documentation with meticulous attention to diplomatic etiquette.
- Monitor and evaluate event outcomes, gathering feedback to improve future engagements and protocol adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and administrative staff, to align event objectives with organizational goals.
- Stay updated on international protocol norms, cultural sensitivities, and best practices in event management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, International Relations, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, protocol coordination, or a similar role within government, diplomatic, or corporate settings.
- Proven track record of organizing large-scale events with a focus on high-profile or international audiences.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of diplomatic protocol, cultural etiquette, and formal event procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
