Responsibility
- Lead the maintenance, calibration, and optimization of solar cell production equipment to ensure peak performance and minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for critical machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment failures using root cause analysis (RCA) and data-driven troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to test and integrate new technologies into existing systems.
- Oversee shift-based operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production targets.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
- Prepare technical reports, performance metrics, and recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
- Stay updated on industry trends in solar energy and semiconductor manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment engineering, preferably in solar, semiconductor, or high-precision manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in PLC programming, automation systems, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, ISO) and quality management systems (QMS).
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing shift-based teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts (for shift-based roles) and adapt to dynamic priorities.
