Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive planned maintenance programs to ensure high equipment availability and reliability
- Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Optimize molding processes to achieve superior quality performance and yield improvement
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment utilization
- Manage equipment upgrades and modifications to enhance performance and extend lifecycle
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on equipment operation and maintenance best practices
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations in all equipment operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to management and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment engineering, preferably in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing
- Proven expertise in molding equipment and processes, with hands-on maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles and predictive maintenance techniques
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and industry standards (SEMI)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis
- Strong communication skills in English, with ability to document procedures and train personnel
- Certification in equipment reliability or maintenance (e.g., CMRP, CRE) is a plus
