Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and test equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions to restore equipment functionality.
- Conduct calibration and validation of testing equipment to maintain accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to resolve equipment-related challenges.
- Develop and update maintenance procedures, documentation, and technical manuals to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) guidelines, and cleanroom procedures in all maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment operation, maintenance best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or precision engineering environment.
- Hands-on expertise with test equipment, automated machinery, and diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, PLC systems).
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, predictive maintenance, and root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 production environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with fluency in English (written and verbal).
