Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on construction equipment, machinery, and tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues, implementing timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, service logs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and local regulations in all maintenance operations.
- Assist in the installation, assembly, and dismantling of temporary structures and equipment as required.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs before they escalate.
- Provide emergency repair services to address critical failures and restore functionality quickly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment used in maintenance work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with OSHA or other safety standards is highly desirable.
