Responsibility
- Lead the development of technical and commercial proposals for high-priority clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Air Liquide’s policies.
- Collaborate with Business Development (BD) and internal teams to align strategic initiatives with market demands and customer needs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects, providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
- Optimize resource allocation and project timelines to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Act as a technical advisor in client negotiations, ensuring proposals meet both commercial and engineering requirements.
- Drive cross-functional alignment between engineering, sales, and operations teams to streamline proposal development.
- Prepare and present strategic reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field); advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or proposal management within the industrial gas, energy, or engineering sectors.
- Proven track record of developing winning technical and commercial proposals for large-scale projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and clients.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and advanced Excel/BI tools for data analysis.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in the APAC industrial sector.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
