Responsibility
- Oversee the daily technical operations of KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit services to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of railway systems, including tracks, signals, and rolling stock.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements in railway operations and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies related to railway safety and operations.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity and reliability of railway assets.
- Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in railway operations, maintenance, or a similar engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of railway systems, including tracks, signaling, and rolling stock.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the railway industry.
