Responsibility
- Lead and direct the daily mechanical maintenance operations to ensure minimal downtime and high equipment availability.
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all mechanical plant assets.
- Manage emergent maintenance works, including rapid troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) to resolve complex mechanical failures.
- Oversee contractor management, ensuring all third-party work adheres to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead site reliability engineering efforts to optimize plant performance.
- Prepare and manage the mechanical maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising on safety or quality.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff to foster a culture of technical excellence and safety awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within a heavy manufacturing or food processing environment.
- Proven expertise in mechanical systems, rotating equipment, piping, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and MS Office suite.
- Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and engineering best practices.
