Responsibility
- Lead failure analysis investigations on semiconductor products to identify root causes of defects and failures.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques, including microscopy, spectroscopy, and electrical testing, to diagnose issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to implement corrective actions.
- Develop and refine failure analysis methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Generate detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability, yield, and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support team development.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in semiconductor failure analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in failure analysis, semiconductor engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in failure analysis tools and techniques, such as SEM, FIB, and electrical characterization.
- Experience with data analysis and statistical methods to identify trends and patterns in product failures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in semiconductor manufacturing and reliability.
- Experience in a leadership or mentorship role is a plus.
