Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems for semiconductor assembly lines, with a focus on PQFN packages.
- Optimize AOI algorithms and parameters to improve defect detection accuracy, reduce false positives/negatives, and enhance throughput.
- Collaborate with process engineers, quality assurance teams, and production staff to integrate AOI solutions into manufacturing workflows.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for AOI-related defects and propose corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical reports, and training materials.
- Stay updated with industry trends in machine vision, AI, and semiconductor packaging to drive continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot AOI hardware/software issues and coordinate with vendors for system upgrades or repairs.
- Mentor junior engineers and fresh graduates, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience (for senior candidates) in AOI system development, machine vision, or semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of image processing, pattern recognition, and algorithm optimization (e.g., OpenCV, HALCON, or similar tools).
- Familiarity with PQFN packaging processes, PCB assembly, or SMT lines is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB for automation and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical data.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to relocate to Badung, Bali and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
