Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and testing of embedded hardware systems, including PCB schematics, firmware integration, and prototyping.
- Collaborate with software and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues, implementing root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Evaluate and select components, microcontrollers, and sensors based on project requirements and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, UL) and regulatory certifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on embedded system best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in embedded systems, IoT, and hardware innovation to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in embedded hardware design, with a focus on system-level architecture.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, OrCAD) and hardware description languages (VHDL/Verilog).
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, AVR), FPGAs, and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN).
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, power management, and signal integrity.
- Experience with firmware development (C/C++, Python) and debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
- Familiarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and embedded Linux is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
