Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to enhance equipment reliability and longevity.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address potential equipment failures before they impact operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, spare parts usage, and equipment performance metrics.
- Conduct regular inspections and calibration of machinery to comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and junior engineers on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance processes and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a semiconductor, electronics, or precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems used in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to collaborate with international teams.
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules and adhere to strict safety protocols.
