Responsibility
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facility assets.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute facility upgrades, renovations, and expansions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and supervising work quality.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including technical reports, maintenance logs, and budget forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and repairs.
- Proficiency in CAD software, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, and local regulatory standards for facility operations.
- Strong communication and project management skills to lead teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
