Responsibility
- Design and develop advanced electronic equipment and test systems for aerospace, defense, and industrial applications.
- Write, debug, and optimize firmware for embedded systems, ensuring seamless hardware-software integration.
- Perform advanced fault troubleshooting down to the component level, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and validation testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in electronics and firmware development.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Document technical specifications, test procedures, and design changes for future reference and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics design, firmware development, or embedded systems engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Assembly for embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, or digital signal processors (DSPs).
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, and signal integrity.
- Experience with debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG) and test equipment.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as MIL-STD, DO-178C, or ISO 26262 is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
