Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate all steel structure site works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and structural calculations to verify accuracy and feasibility before implementation.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to align on project requirements, resolve discrepancies, and optimize construction workflows.
- Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards throughout the construction process.
- Manage subcontractors and site labor, providing clear instructions and oversight to achieve project milestones.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, including documentation of site activities, material usage, and any deviations from the original plan.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges on-site, proposing innovative solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in steel structure site engineering, preferably in commercial, industrial, or large-scale residential projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or similar design and drafting software for reviewing and modifying technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, steel fabrication processes, and construction methodologies.
- Familiarity with Indonesian building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices for steel structure projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with international teams and stakeholders.
- Physical stamina and willingness to work in outdoor environments, including high elevations and varying weather conditions.
