Responsibility
- Design, develop, and test electrical control systems for water treatment pump applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with mechanical and civil engineering teams to integrate electrical systems into water treatment infrastructure.
- Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement automation solutions (PLC, SCADA) to enhance the efficiency and reliability of pump systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and operation manuals for internal and client use.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess electrical system requirements and provide on-site support during installation and commissioning.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and water treatment technologies to drive innovation.
- Ensure all projects adhere to budget, timeline, and quality standards while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical system design, preferably in water treatment, industrial automation, or pump systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA systems, and HMI development.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, motor control systems, and power distribution.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for system design and documentation.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC, NEMA, and ISO for electrical installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
