Responsibility
- Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to product development.
- Design, prototype, and test innovative technical solutions to address complex engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, and QA) to refine product specifications and ensure feasibility.
- Develop and document technical drawings, schematics, and reports to support R&D initiatives.
- Analyze test data and iterate on designs to optimize performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Stay updated with patent filings, competitive products, and academic research to inform design decisions.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, data-driven reports.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D, product design, or a similar technical role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) and simulation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to design.
- Experience with prototyping, 3D printing, or rapid manufacturing techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to articulate technical concepts.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI) and regulatory compliance is advantageous.
